To be eligible to pursue a B.P.Ed course, one must have graduated with an aggregate of 50% or more and have participated in inter-college competitions, depending on the course requirements. The duration of a B.P.Ed course is 2 years.

The notification for admission to the course shall be publicly announced through local newspapers and electronic media by the office of the Director of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
