National Sports Day 2023

JAMMU, Aug 29: Various educational institutions of Sai Cheritable Trust commemorated the National Sports Day with great enthusiasm and fervour which is celebrated every year on the birth anniversary of Hockey Legend Major Dhyan Chand Singh.
The Trikuta college of Physical Education was the host college, wherein the Chairperson, Mrs. Suman Sharma was the chief guest whereas MD Mr. Ravish Sharma, CEOs Mrs. Jasudha Sharma and Mrs. Japna Sharma of Trikuta Group of Colleges, Principals of all Institutions of Trikuta Group of Colleges and many others were guests of honour. The event was organised under the leadership of Dr. Jyoti Singh, Principal Trikuta college of Physical Education, Nardni, Jammu.

A Volleyball competition was organised with a start of National Anthem, and Pledge taken by all players for the promotion and to inculcate the feeling of true dedication for Nation and sportsmanship among them and to improve their sports skills. Trikuta Degree College won the competition and Jammu College of Physiotherapy remains Runner-up for this competition. Besides these Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Sain Institute of Paramedical Sciences were also participated teams.
